Benvenuto!

Dear family and friends, welcome to my travel blog!

I invite you to follow my adventures as I pack my entire life into a suitcase (maybe two) and begin life as a nomad. My journey officially begins on January 23rd when I fly out of JFK, then to Roma and finally to Firenze!

The purpose of this blog is to make you all insanely jealous. Just kidding…its purpose is to overcome the difficulties of the 6-hour time difference. Italy runs six hours ahead of New York, and thus, when you are all waking up I will have already had 10 servings of gelato.

I intend to also use this as a diary of sorts. When I return in May I will most likely be severely depressed and having an identity crises, so being able to look back at my former life of Italian luxury will surely help…
